Twitter Training

Here is a free tutorial on Twitter. I produced this video in preparation for the SHRM Annual Conference in New Orleans. They have been released on the SHRM website, but I figured that I would put them here as well in case you had missed them. I encourage you to share them with your friends and colleagues who have yet to join the social media frenzy! I hope that you enjoy this two part series and that you come join us on Twitter soon!

This is awesome! I’ll be referring the people who regularly ask me how to use Twitter to this page from now on. Nice job of explaining the basics and I love how you walk through everything visually. Very cool!

Thanks Jennifer ;-) I get asked about how to get started with Twitter quite a bit – I’m sure you do as well. Hopefully this will help.

Michael, you have a great knack for breaking things down to an easily understood format to a complete novice. The videos are great and I hated to leave your “Twitter for HR” session at the HR Florida State Conference. Looking forward to the webinar on the 28th!

Thank you Lori! I’m glad that you found the presentation helpful!

Agree with others’ comments – great intro to twitter – the way you broke it down and taught it step by step. thanks for doing that and making it accessible.

hi, if your in twitter just tweet, as twitter is gain more than millions of users in every month, ok that its fine, but oh hear, am trying to be honest i know it takes a long way to go for those who starting use it at first, but wat if you post a lots every day and you dont get any respond, and may i know how blogs, links work, and best post tweets!!

There are tons of different best practices for getting started and expanding your network through the use of Twitter. I would suggest running searches at http://search.twitter.com until you can find a community/grouping of individuals that fit your interest. Then… start communicating with them.

Thank you, still learning Twitter to help my husband find a J.O.B. This will certainly help.
